Who

I'm a dad, designer and recovering founder

I’m an award-winning software designer and self-confessed ideas junkie who thrives on turning concepts into reality.

As a flexible design generalist, I bring an inventive, iterative, and proactive mindset - ready to add value at any stage of the design or product lifecycle.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of clients, industries, and ventures - each experience adding to a deep and broad skill set.

This journey has equipped me to support and lead teams that need to validate and execute ideas quickly and effectively.

I’m passionate about partnering with teams on a clear and compelling mission, helping them achieve their goals - at speed, at scale, and for good.

Here’s to you, Change Champions.

15+ years,
100's of projects

2005

Like all good stories it begins with nothing more than a dream and a pirated copy of Adobe Dreamweaver.

2009

Education

Graduated with honours from the University of Portsmouth, UK with a BA in 'Design for Interactive Media'.

2010

Accelerator

In-house designer at one of the first UK accelerators working with a range of colourful startups. Here I witnessed first hand what happens when ideas succeed - and fail.

2011

Agency

Earned my stripes as a designer at a prestigious London based full service digital agency.

2012

International

Presented with the opportunity to relocate and launch a new studio in Melbourne, Australia. G'day!

2013

Payments

Joined a hospitality startup to build payment experiences in partnership with PayPal - this was later acquired by Australia's Commonwealth bank.

2015

Banking

Became involved in a joint venture at Australia's 'big 4' banks to deliver real-time payments (a rare thing indeed for banks of the time!)

2016

Fintech

Early hire at 'Assembly payments' to help kick off a revolution in white label marketplace payment solutions - later merged with Irish bank CurrencyFair.

2018

Founder

Leveraged Assembly's payments technology to co-found my first startup delivering innovative ticketing experiences for the live events industry.

2020

Pandemic

My co-founders and I waved goodbye to our thriving software business when the pandemic forced the indefinite closure of all events.

2020

Pivot

Redeployed our ticketing technology to help small businesses 'pay it forward' with gift cards during the height of lockdowns in UK, Australia and New Zealand.
